The Rebellion Roads Shores Tour
We will show you the best bike route in Mt. Pleasant. The route travels first into old village to Pitt St. Bridge with views of Fort Sumter. Next we travel along Pitt Street to Shem Creek Park. With an active shrimp boat fleet and regular dolphin, visits to Shem Creek are unforgettable. From there we travel toward Sullivan’s Island along the Ben Sawyer Bikeway. Riders can take in beautiful marsh views as we cross to the island. Once on the island we access the beach and ride the length of the island on it’s beach shores. We exit the beach at Ft. Moultrie and make our way back to Mt. Pleasant along the inland side of the island. This route starts at 1470 Ben Sawyer Boulevard, Mt. Pleasant, SC 29464 and takes about 2 hours.
The Patriot Pass
The Patriot Pass shows riders Charleston’s biggest attractions East of the Cooper River. Initially, this route parallels our Shores tour; First we travel into the old village to Pitt St. Bridge with views of Fort Sumter. Next we travel along Pitt Street to Shem Creek Park. Riders can expect to see popular restaurants, dockside bars, water sports, an active shrimp boat fleet and regular dolphin. From Shem Creek we work our way toward the Ravenel Bridge. We skip traffic through quiet neighborhood streets and ride directly to Mount Pleasant Memorial Waterfront Park. Here, we begin our trip to the USS Yorktown Naval aircraft carrier along a brand new connected walkway that includes meandering boardwalks and gravel pathways. There we will see the USS Yorktown, a submarine, and regular helicopter takeoffs & landing. If you’re a local e bike commuter, there really is not a better bike way between Sullivan’s island and the Ravenel Bridge. This route starts and finishes at 1470 Ben Sawyer Boulevard, Suite 29, Mt. Pleasant, SC 29464.
